LivingWorks sponsoring IASP APAC Conference in Thailand

LivingWorks is sponsoring the 11th Asia Pacific Conference hosted by the International Association for Suicide Prevention in Bangkok, Thailand from June 3-6. The event aims to foster collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange among stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region to address the unique challenges of suicide prevention within the diverse cultural and societal contexts of the region.

We look forward to meeting you at our booth, hosting a pre-conference LivingWorks safeTALK workshop and sharing some exciting news regarding our program evidence and academic research studies that have examined our programs.

Pre-conference LivingWorks safeTALK workshop

LivingWorks’ Asia Pacific Training Lead, Belinda Connell, led a pre-conference LivingWorks safeTALK workshop on June 3, supported by LivingWorks Director of Suicide Prevention, Marc Bryant. LivingWorks safeTALK is a four-hour training that equips people to be more alert to someone thinking of suicide and better able to connect them with further help. Using a simple yet effective model, LivingWorks safeTALK empowers everyone to make a difference.

Dr. Morton Silverman’s LivingWorks research and studies report

Dr. Morton Silverman is an accomplished academic and suicide prevention research specialist and is a co-author or author of more than 50 peer-reviewed studies. Dr. Silverman has recently completed a comprehensive review on all peer-reviewed studies and academic publications that have been completed on multiple LivingWorks programs since 2010. LivingWorks’ Marc Bryant will be presenting the findings of this report at the Conference on Wednesday, June 5.

Visit our booth

We will also be exhibiting throughout the conference and would love the opportunity to meet you! Stop by our booth to learn more about our gold-standard training programs and how you can create a Network of Safety in your community to help keep everyone safer from suicide.
